well its only been 23 days since my grandfather passed away, i miss him a lot you know...... spending my entire childhood with him...he used to come recieve me from school and now... hes gone, its sad to not see him sitting him on his chair. but it is what is it we just have to accept it and move on... :(

My Dadaji also passed away on 15 august just few days back, we were in complete shock because he was completely fit, but in one day his kidney function got very poor, finally left us.
For more than 50 years, he was running pan parlour alone and everyday after coming to home and used to do Bhajan kirtan alone no matter what, he was Narayan Bhakt.
I am very happy that, he did tons of Bhakti and Satsang in his life. 🥺
Everyone today is just throwing around the word Sanatan without knowing it's actual meaning! it is clearly mentioned in Srimad Bhagwad Gita-
अच्छेद्योऽयमदाह्योऽयमक्लेद्योऽशोष्य एव च |
नित्य: सर्वगत: स्थाणुरचलोऽयं सनातन: || (2.24)-
Tattva or that essence itself is what is Sanatan
यज्ञशिष्टामृतभुजो यान्ति ब्रह्म सनातनम् |
नायं लोकोऽस्त्ययज्ञस्य कुतोऽन्य: कुरुसत्तम || (4.31) - those who consume the remenants after offering it to the others, reach the Brahma which is Sanatan.
परस्तस्मात्तु भावोऽन्योऽव्यक्तोऽव्यक्तात्सनातन: |
य: स सर्वेषु भूतेषु नश्यत्सु न विनश्यति ||8.20
ममैवांशो जीवलोके जीवभूत: सनातन: |
मन:षष्ठानीन्द्रियाणि प्रकृतिस्थानि कर्षति || (15.7) -
'all' the beings are his ansh or part of it !
That Tattva or the Brahma and also the अव्यय बीज - (the one which cannot be changed)these are all what is Sanatan! Sanatan dharma is not a caste like hinduism or buddhism or anything, but indeed the description of that sanatan tattva on which each and every thing and each and every being thrives, understanding which is our dharma or kartavya in this manushya janma!

It's nowhere written in Garun Puran that women should not go to the cremation ground. Balki usme toh ek jagah ye likha hai ki sabhi rituals karne ke baad aage aage mahilayen chalein aur unke peechhe purush. Our ancestors were very progressive however, I think things might have changed somewhere in the middle... Ye bhi ho sakta hai ki shamshan ghat thodi doori par hote the and beech mei junglee janwar, looteron, etc ka khatra hota tha toh shayad issliye safety ko dhyaan mei rakhkar ye prachlan ban gaya ki mahilayen nhi jayengi.

2. And I swear by the self-reproaching person (a believer).
3. Does man (a disbeliever) think that We shall not assemble his bones?
4. Yes, We are Able to put together in perfect order the tips of his fingers.
5. Nay! (Man denies Resurrection and Reckoning. So) he desires to continue committing sins.
6. He asks: "When will be this Day of Resurrection?"
7. So, when the sight shall be dazed,
8. And the moon will be eclipsed,
9. And the sun and moon will be joined together (by going one into the other or folded up or deprived of their light, etc.)
10. On that Day man will say: "Where (is the refuge) to flee?"
11. No! There is no refuge!
12. Unto your Lord (Alone) will be the place of rest that Day.
13. On that Day man will be informed of what he sent forward (of his evil or good deeds), and what he left behind (of his good or evil traditions).
14. Nay! Man will be a witness against himself [as his body parts (skin, hands, legs, etc.) will speak about his deeds].
15. Though he may put forth his excuses (to cover his evil deeds).
16. Move not your tongue concerning (the Qur'an, O Muhammad ) to make haste therewith.
17. It is for Us to collect it and to give you (O Muhammad ) the ability to recite it (the Qur'an),
18. And when We have recited it to you [O Muhammad  through Jibrael (Gabriel)], then follow you its (the Qur'an's) recital.
19. Then it is for Us (Allah) to make it clear to you,
20. Not [as you think, that you (mankind) will not be resurrected and recompensed for your deeds], but (you men) love the present life of this world,
21. And leave (neglect) the Hereafter.
22. Some faces that Day shall be Nadirah (shining and radiant).
23. Looking at their Lord (Allah);
24. And some faces, that Day, will be Basirah (dark, gloomy, frowning, and sad),
25. Thinking that some calamity was about to fall on them;
26. Nay, when (the soul) reaches to the collar bone (i.e. up to the throat in its exit),
27. And it will be said: "Who can cure him and save him from death?"
28. And he (the dying person) will conclude that it was (the time) of departing (death);
29. And leg will be joined with another leg (shrouded)
30. The drive will be, on that Day, to your Lord (Allah)!
31. So he (the disbeliever) neither believed (in this Qur'an, in the Message of Muhammad ) nor prayed!
32. But on the contrary, he belied (this Qur'an and the Message of Muhammad ) and turned away!
33. Then he walked in full pride to his family admiring himself!
34. Woe to you [O man (disbeliever)]! And then (again) woe to you!

Please understand SANATAN is that 'ultimate satya', the tattva itself from which everything originates,
and we can see this essence in literally everything, but we are just not paying attention towards it..
Think about it when u r drinking tea in the morning, what is this colour, how does it get the taste and smell that it has got? Who must have given it? This is because of that 'SANATAN TATTVA'
See it when you are eating a banana, someone has made it this way that a peel so delicate, made with such intricate fibres, holds and protects the fruit inside. U try keeping the banana without the peel for a day. it will get rotten. Who makes and maintains these things? It's because of 'SANATAN TATTVA'
Just look at an orange, has anyone till date been able to discover what material is used in there? How are those small pieces of an orange all clinged to each other and then the peel holds it firmly inside. This is because of 'SANATAN TATTVA' or even see a lemon, made with such small fibres and each of them is filled with juice and all of them perfectly round, EVERYTIME! This is because of 'SANATAN TATTVA' !
Take a rose in ur hand & see, how are those petals so beautifully placed onto each other and absolutely in sync! The colours given to it, the smell given to it! Who does it and how and when?? All because of 'SANATAN TATTVA'
While looking at these things we must remember that he has made all these things to beautify his World and not because he wants to differentiate! He is the same everywhere, just like there is the same electric current flowing within different things, differently,i.e., it cools through the fridge or heats through the heater, this is all because of one 'SANATAN TATTVA' . Look at the birds, how do they teach their off-springs to fly? Have u ever seen any bird falling off the branch because of disbalance? How are they taken care of? It's because of 'SANATAN TATTVA'! Look at the small babies, nobody can even stick one single strand of hair on their head, not even a single hair! How does it shape the babies by placing so many bones, so many nerves, lenses and all of it in such a small baby. Do we ever think of anything? This is all happening because of that 'SANATAN TATTVA'. That one energy or shakti is working at all times through everything and everyone of us, we are just not paying attention to it.
And for this, we should try and calmly pay attention to things around us and we will see that, it is trying to reveal itself through each and everything around us!
And it's for us to understand that who is at play behind the curtains! To know it is our DHARMA and for that we should do our duties & our kartavya selflessly, by doing which,
our ' मन ' & ' बुद्धी ' becomes pure and we are able to see that tattva in everything!
Remember, unless we don't silent the noise outside, we will not be able to listen to the voice within!
This information that I have got through my Gurus and by reading Srimad Bhagwat Geeta, has helped me get a better perspective at life and thus thought would help others as well, so sharing this without any selfish motive and for the betterment of everyone, because even if one person changes their perspective, we will slowly but gradually definitely move towards peace!
